Well at this point there are only two days until I depart for South Korea! Thanks to a generous scholarship from Clarion University, (where I am a student at Venango campus) I will be spending a semester abroad.
I'm thinking that today would be a good day to start packing and see just what I'm missing in the pile of stuff I've accumulated over the past 8 months. I have to post an online project for my nursing class and then another quick trip to the docs for a last "once over" and then pack and rest.
I will be flying out of Franklin, PA from the Chase Lamberton airport at 7:20 am, Saturday morning. I've been told to be there by 6 am to get through screening and to make sure my bags get scheduled all the way to Korea. I went to the airport 2 weeks ago to see if there were any issues and other than getting ticketed all the way there was some glitch in the system where they could not get the bags to follow me. I left my trip schedule/flights with the counter folk and they assured me they would have it figured out by the time I left. That's never a good sign, now is it.
I will have connecting flights in Cleveland, then Los Angles, Seoul, South Korea and then finally will land in Daegu, South Korea about 8am Feb 28th, where I am supposed to be met by a representative from Daegu University.
So excited for you my Brother! I just know that you're gonna have a fantastic time on your journey. Love this blog idea too! What a great way to keep us up to date on your day to day activities.
ReplyDeleteTavel safely, I'll keep you in my prayers.
