Dinner

Well I managed to sleep through the first dinner here. Rob one of the CU students who came last semester for the year stopped by and he and Carrie <sp> invited me to walk into town with them and try a dish that is basically boiled chicken meat and rice which is supposed to be rather tasty. But after a quick shower and the earlier walk into town in search of milk, I fell asleep. Woke up 30 minutes after we were to meet to find a note of the door that said after waiting and knocking for 15 minutes they had given up and gone. Needless to say I laid back down for some much needed sleep.

Received my actual snail mail address for those wanting it:
James Kronmiller
Room 1707
International House 1
Daegu University
Jillyang, Gyeongsan,
Gyeongbuk 712-714
South Korea

Today is the Korean Independence Day - Kind of like the 4th of July in the US. Most everything including the university is closed. I think it would be a good day to wander down to the bus station and go into the nearby town area and get things like soap powder etc. Hopefully it won't rain like it has been.

Take care!

  1. That's a tough call -- food or sleep? Thanks for the snail mail address! Now, you just have to tell us what to send. I could send some instant Starbucks!

With all the walkin' it sounds like that carrier is gonna come in REALLY handy.
Cant wait to see what else you post here. :)

By the way, do you have Skype? If you do, I am on there as cann-photography ... lets set up a call! I miss my Brother and would love to talk to ya for a few.
