Well it's about 9 am Thursday March 3rd here - which means its about 7 pm Wednesday the 2nd there in PA. It's going to be a great day. The sun is out and the sky is an amazing blue. Still quite cold but beautiful.
To make things even better I have finally found something in the cafeteria here that I can not only eat and keep down, BUT has meat in it and tastes GREAT! It's called "Sameyetang" and it is a boiled chicken, ginseng soup. Very tasty if I say so myself. Like I said it even has meat in it! Chicken may not be my beloved "bacon" but man it tasted like steak. To make it even more memorable, I actually saw and tasted salt for the first time since arriving. No salt shakers or anything to do with salt. But today with the soup there were the little dishes they serve their sides in with sea salt crystals in them. Not much but enough you could taste it.
Now for a nice cup of Lipton tea brought from home and then maybe an exploration into the neighboring town to see what there is to see!
I just might survive after all!
